6 Garages Catch Fire on City's South Side

Six garages caught fire near S. 26th and Mitchell St. early Saturday morning. About $100,000 worth of damage resulted from the fires.

Milwaukee Fire Department was dispatched at 4:11 a.m. to a report of a garage fire. When they arrived, two garages were fully involved with fire and four others were also on fire.

No injuries resulted from the fires, but $25,000 worth of contents inside of the garages was lost.
