Tonight: Any rain or mix should switch to snow during the evening and last into and through much of the overnight. Total amounts of an inch or snow of slushy accumulation is possible. Lows around freezing. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: A few snow showers early then partial clearing. Highs only in the mid to upper 30s. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph.

Extended: More snow showers expected for Monday, especially lakeside. Otherwise variable clouds. A Winter Storm Watch holds for Chicago and northwest Indiana. Lake effect snow could bring them more than a half foot of snow. Highs only in the 30s to near 40. Any wind will make it feel much colder. Fairly quiet the rest of the week and getting milder with highs in the 40s and 50s. Lows mainly in the 30s.
