WEST ALLIS (CBS 58) -- A 63-year-old was walking her dog with her granddaughter near 84th and Grant when a man approached her from behind and robbed her.
It happened Monday night before 7:30 p.m. Officers arrived to find the woman on the ground screaming.
According to police, the suspect forcefully removed the purse that was over the victim's shoulder. Both the victim and the suspect fell to the ground.
The suspect got up and took off. He is described as a male white in his late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 6’ tall, black hair and having facial stubble. He was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
West Allis Police searched for the suspect in the area but did not find him.
