Another Winter Storm Coming....

After digging out from 6" to 10" of snow over the weekend, we have another round of winter weather possible for Friday and Saturday.

Another area of low pressure will develop near the panhandle of Oklahoma on Thursday.  That low will deepen and move northeast Friday into Saturday across Illinois.  The atmosphere will be cold enough to support all snow during this event.  Southeastern Wisconsin will sit just south of a warm front which acts like a sweet spot for accumulating snow.  Snow will likely start Friday afternoon and evening and increase overnight into Saturday.

More upper level energy will phase into this system to create wraparound snow for Saturday morning through the evening.  While the exact track of the storm still needs determined, the potential for significant accumulating snow across our area remains high.

It's very possible that another 6"+ of snow could fall; however, we aren't going for specific totals at this point.

Travel will become a problem for Friday night and all through your Saturday.

Please check back over the next several days as we modify the forecast.
