Another round of snow tonight

An upper-level trough brought snow overnight and early this morning ushering in slippery conditions in southeastern Wisconsin. It will be quiet the rest of today with temps nearing 40 behind gusty northwesterly winds. The next weather maker moves in by late tonight and Saturday morning with snowfall likely around the viewing area.

The snow will start after midnight and could continue until 10 am Saturday. From Milwaukee and north will see the heaviest snowfall between 2”-3”; south of Milwaukee will sit between 1”-2”. This will cause more headaches trying to get around for Saturday morning before this all moves east.

The rest of the weekend will be running below average, but no more snow is expected. Highs will be in the 30s.
