MPD: 53-year-old man found dead in Milwaukee River in Third Ward

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a death incident after a body was found floating in the Milwaukee River on Wednesday, June 23.
Police say the body of a 53-year-old man was found near Water and Bruce, close to the Summerfest grounds, at 6:30 a.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the cause of death is under investigation, but does not appear to be suspicious at this time.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) is investigating a body found near Erie and Summerfest in Milwaukee's Third Ward.
It happened Wednesday morning, June 23.
A dive response team is currently active in the area.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office (MCMEO) confirmed they are responding to the area for the report of an unidentified male subject in the Milwaukee River.

The Milwaukee Fire Department and Milwaukee Police Department were both called to the area.
