1 found dead after car fire near 10th and Burleigh

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The victim was identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office Monday as 59-year-old Barbara Pugh.
The medical examiner's report lists the manner of death as undetermined.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities are investigating a fire near 10th and Burleigh Tuesday, May 13.
According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, firefighters arrived at the scene at 9:37 a.m. and found a car burning next to the garage. The blaze was extinguished by 9:49 a.m.
Once the fire was put out, first responders found a victim deceased in the vehicle.
MFD says the Fire and Investigative Team and Milwaukee police are investigating.
Jermaine Evans was working nearby when he noticed the smoke and called 911.
"I ran over here, and I seen the car on fire and sprayed into the garage, and I had called 911 and I had knocked on somebody’s door because I didn’t know if their house was on fire so they can get out," said Evans. “The windshield and the mirrors blew off.”
The name of the victim has not been released.
