Fight leads to gunfire at West Bend Taco Bell

A fight lead to gunfire at a Taco Bell Restaurant in West Bend around 2:15 AM Saturday.   According to the West Bend Police Department, witnesses said that the occupants to two cars in the drive through got into an argument and during the argument, a 38-year-old man grabbed a handgun, threatened the other individuals and fired one shot.   No one was struck by the shot.

The 38-year-old suspect was arrested by West Bend Police and charged with 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon and Operating an Auto while Intoxicated.   Police also arrested a 27-year-old man who was with the first individual.   The 27-year-old was charged with Disorderly Conduct.  Police were able to recover the handgun which was owned by the 27-year-old.
