Five-year-old girl donating birthday presents to Wisconsin hospital

KIMBERLY, Wis. (WFRV) -- A trip to the emergency room inspired a five-year-old girl to do something special for sick kids.

Ella Bast had a birthday party Saturday and will be donating any money or presents she receives for her birthday to kids in crisis.

In December, her younger sister went to the emergency room and received a gift.

After seeing how happy her sister was, Ella decided she wanted to donate her birthday gifts to help kids in the hospital feel better.

Ella will be donating every gift to the Emergency Department at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
