Hazmat crews respond to Kenosha County Walmart after employees sickened

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It was a scary situation at the Walmart in Salem after three workers had to be taken to the hospital.

It happened Sunday morning at the location on Brumback Boulevard. 

The employees got sick after spending time in a cooler.

A hazmat crew came in and evacuated the store while they checked it for dangerous gasses.

None were found and the store reopened later.

The three employees were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The Fire Chief says they showed symptoms of low oxygen.
