Jesse Vang enters not guilty pleas in connection to death of Elijah Vue

MANITOWOC COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One of the people charged in the death of Two Rivers toddler Elijah Vue, appeared in court on Monday, Nov. 18.

Vue was found dead after being reported missing back in February.

In court Monday, Jesse Vang listened to his arraignment hearing while in custody over Zoom.

He entered not guilty pleas to each count he faces.

Vang, along with Vue's mother Katrina Bauer, are facing abuse leading to death charges.

The medical examiner says Vue died after suffering abuse.

The toddler was reportedly last with Vang for discipline.

Vang's next court date is set for March 13 -- which will be a scheduling conference.
