CBS 58’s Feel Good Fridays: Free visit to the Milwaukee Art...
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A former patient at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee has started a fundraiser to give toys to patients.
Kalli Ramaker carried a gene associated with a risk for heart disease and spent a lot of time at the Children’s Hospital when she was younger. She organized an art show in August and was able to raise more than $4,000. More than 250 people attended the event, and she was able to deliver the art today.
“I felt like there are kids out in the world that have it harder than I do, even though I feel like my world is pretty broken,” said Ramaker. “I feel like there’s kids that can’t come home, so why not help them enjoy their time at Children’s Hospital."
