Man nearly five times over limit and 16-year-old girl arrested for OWI in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Washington County Sheriff's Deputies made two drunk driving arrests on Wednesday, June 6.

The first happened in West Bend near Paradise and Scenic Drives just after 6 p.m. A squad came across someone next to a tipped over motorcycle in the intersection and thought that the driver might be having a medical emergency.

Deputies determined the 49-year-old Hartford man was drunk. The man failed a field sobriety test and blew a 0.386 on a breath test.

A second OWI arrest happened just before midnight on I-41 south near State Highway 33. A car was driving at 94 mph and as the Deputy approached drove across multiple rumble strips.

The driver crossed over the center line three times before pulling over.

A 16-year-old Fond du Lac girl was arrested for "alcohol-related" driving. She was released to her mom.
