Melting today, more snow for the weekend

Ahhh the sound of melting across the area.  The melting has been accelerated over the last 24 hours with temperatures staying well above freezing!  Unfortunately cold air tonight will limit the melting and cause some slick spots across the area.

Just a few days ago there was 9" of snow on the ground in Milwaukee.  Today we have 2"!  While some flurries are possible overnight with the passage of a front, we are eyeing Saturday for our next chance of measurable snow.

Saturday's disturbance will kick off light snow across southeastern Wisconsin during the afternoon and evening.  Overall accumulation will be around 1".  This won't be a big event, but some slick roads could be an issue.
