Milwaukee officials fight auto shop fire while returning from another call

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department was in the right place at the right time while returning from a call early Monday morning, Aug. 2. 

According to MFD, around 12:16 a.m., a crew returning from another call witnessed heavy flames coming from the first and second floors of an auto shop near N. 58th St. and W. Hampton Ave. 

Crews put out the fire and did multiple searches in the building. There were no civilian or fire fighter injuries. 

Milwaukee Police and Fire are investigating the cause of the fire. Initial damage loss is $250,000.
