Milwaukee man arrested for OWI after crashing into tree, parked car

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 27-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested for OWI after crashing his vehicle twice.

Police initially responded to an accident where a vehicle had struck a tree. It happened shortly after midnight on Wednesday in the 4200 block of S. Vermont Court.

While looking for the vehicle that struck the tree, an officer observed a vehicle crash into a parked vehicle in a parking lot of an apartment complex. 

It was determined that this was the same vehicle that had struck the tree earlier.

The driver, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

He was cited for OWI 1st Offense.

The investigation remains ongoing.
