UPDATE: MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The family of a man shot and killed in a triple shooting outside a nightclub on Milwaukee’s south side is speaking out.

Angel Ortega’s family is still trying to come to grips with what happened at Kana Mojito Club on Saturday.

Cell phone video shows the fight inside the club leading up to the 20-year-old’s death around 1:45 Saturday morning. Ortega’s older brother was with him moments before he went inside the club.

He was told the situation started over a woman. Witnesses say the shooter went outside to grab his gun and then started shooting, killing Ortega and sending two others to the hospital.

His mother Ernestina wants to know why he was able to get into the 21 and up club.

“My son was 20. He was under 21. What right did they have to let him in? He didn’t even have his ID. His ID was at home. He did not do no harm to nobody. He was a good boy,” says Ortega’s mother.

The club has been closed since the shooting and had no comment when CBS 58 reached out Monday afternoon.

Police are still looking for the shooter.
