MPD investigates Friday night and Saturday morning shootings

The Milwaukee Police are investing two shootings, one from  Friday night and one from early Saturday morning.

Around 9:10 PM Friday, a 29-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to a local hospital with a serious gunshot wound.  According to the Police, the man was shot during an argument in the area of N 69^th Street and W Capitol Drive.

Around 5:35 Saturday morning a 54-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot in her residence at N 5^th and W Clarke Streets.  According to the MPD, she was taken to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

In both cases, the Police are investigating the circumstances that led up to the shootings and are actively looking for suspects.
