MUSKEGO, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Tess Corners Fire Department announced that multiple area fire departments battled a house fire near Hawthrone Road in Muskego Saturday morning, Dec. 11.
Officials say that the fire broke out at approximately 2 a.m. Saturday.
First responders reported that the house was fully impacted by the fire and that the neighborhood did not have any fire hydrants.
Reports indicate that numerous units from multiple departments worked for over an hour trying to extinguish the fire.
Thankfully, authorities say that no one was injured in the blaze and the homeowners of the residence were able to exit the residence safely.
Tess Corners Fire Department announced Saturday that the Greendale Fire Department, Hales Corners Fire Department, New Berlin Fire Department, Village of Vernon Fire Department, Big Bend Fire Department, Tichigan Volunteer Fire Company, and Franklin Professional Firefighters IAFF L-2760 assisted in battling the fire.
