MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --The second tallest building in Milwaukee is now open for business!
Northwestern Mutual just held their opening ceremony for their new tower and commons. It's 550 ft tall and 32 stories high.
That includes a large public area on the first floor with a museum and a Starbucks as well as an area on the top floor that the company says can be used for community events.
The building costs 450 million dollars and Northwestern staff members say more than 3,000 people will work there.
CEO John Schlifske says the building shows the link between the city and the company.
The building opens its doors to the public at 1 p.m.
Workers will start moving in on Friday.
