Pabst Mansion open for popular Christmas Twilight Tours
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Pabst Mansion is celebrating the holiday season again with their popular Christmas Twilight Tours. The evening open houses invite guests to enjoy the beauty and splendor of the Pabst Mansion by the glow of the original light fixtures and illuminated Christmas trees.
The Twilight Tours are also the only opportunity to see the Mansion at nighttime. Self-guided tours take guests through each room filled with holiday cheer.
The tours are available on Friday, December 7 and Friday, December 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The cost for the tours is $15 for adults, $8 for children six to seventeen and kids under six are free. It is recommended that tickets are purchased in advance by clicking here.
The interior décor is a wide array of styles from traditional, elegant to zany.
The well-known Reception Hall chandelier has been included in the Christmas display prominently this season. Large red balls hanging from the fixture join the festive red light-wrapped antlers. The small Conservatory has big impact featuring red and white candy cane colors. The 3rd floor guest bedroom used by the two Pabst sons features typical 19th-century Christmas décor providing stark contrast to the rest of the décor in the Mansion.
