Paul Ryan tours high school in New Berlin

NEW BERLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) – On Monday, Paul Ryan highlighted the importance of job training at a young age.

The Republican leader toured New Berlin Eisenhower High School including the labs dedicated to constructions technology support and nursing. He told students job training needs to change so people are prepared to enter a fast-changing workforce.

“The idea that you’re going to have the same job for 40 years, that’s just not the way the world works anymore. So, we have to get smart and get right and we stay that, we mean respect local control. Respect innovation,” says Rep. Ryan (R) – WI.

Ryan says lawmakers in Washington are passing legislation to let states create job training programs that fit their specific needs.
