MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. (Ret.) has announced that after a nearly 40-year career in law enforcement, he will serve as a spokesman and Senior Advisor for America First Action.
Clarke says he chose America First Action because it is the primary political action committee dedicated to electing candidates who support the agenda of the Trump-Pence administration and will be out front on the campaign trail to reelect President Trump in 2020.
About the new post, Clarke said, "I will help make sure we elect the candidates who will do what they promise in support of President Trump's agenda. Just as important, I will see to it that the will of the American people is not derailed by the left or the self -serving Washington establishment."

While national outlets were quoting sources that said his next move would be in the Trump Administration, CBS 58 News had it on good authority that the next job was going to be in the private sector.
