Standoff in Cedarburg ends peacefully after domestic disturbance

CEDARBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Friday afternoon just before 5:30 p.m. Cedarburg Police were called to a domestic disturbance on Garfield Street in Cedarburg. A family member feared for their life during the incident.

Officers were able to contact the suspect by phone who refused to meet officers and threatened to shoot anyone who came to the home.

Negotiators were called to speak with the suspect after a perimeter was established. About four hours later around 9:45 p.m. the suspect left the hose peacefully and was arrested without incident.
