Sun for Thanksgiving, Showers Late on Black Friday

Temperatures will be chilly with a plunge of arctic air on Wednesday. Wakeup temperatures will be in the teens and 20s, while highs will jump only into the 30s. Sunshine and light westerly winds will be seen.

Traveling for both Wednesday and Thanksgiving look very calm with lighters winds, sunshine, and no precipitation expected. The last two years, the Badger State saw systems that impacted the area for traveling. This year will be much tamer.

Another front carves through the state on Black Friday. Temperatures will dive this weekend once again below average behind the cold front. Ahead of the cold front on Friday, temperatures will warm back into the 50s with chances of showers later on Friday afternoon and evening. The highs fall in the 30s by Saturday and Sunday; however, the umbrella or shovel will not be needed. The end of the hunting season will be ideal.
