1 dead after vehicle pulled from retention pond in Oak Creek
OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 36-year-old man was found deceased after a vehicle was pulled from a retention pond in Oak Creek Tuesday, Jan. 4.
The Oak Creek Fire Department responded to the pond in the area of 13th Street and Ryan Road around 10:30 a.m. after officers discovered broken car parts on the side of the road near the pond.

The OCFD requested assistance from the Milwaukee Fire Department’s dive team and Franklin Fire Department shortly after.
Authorities said excessive speed appears to be a contributing factor.
The accident remains under investigation by the Oak Creek Police Department with the assistance of Wisconsin State Patrol, Franklin Police Department and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
