Here's a look at the first fall colors report generated from Travel Wisconsin. Most of
the viewing area is between 0%-25% to peak, which is no surprise. Typically, it is the mid and end of October before southern and southeastern Wisconsin hits peak colors.Northern Wisconsin is a different story. Depending on the weather pattern, it can be in mid-September or the end of the month. Vernon, Taylor, and Lincoln Counties in Wisconsin are the only spots in the orange shading meaning 25%-50% to peak. It will likely be a few more weeks before those colors really pop.
Make sure to check back weekly for CBS58’s own report to find out where the best colors are for fall in the area and state.
