Wisconsin Regents Debating Keeping Athletics at UW-Milwaukee

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin regent is questioning whether it's worth continuing athletics at UW-Milwaukee.
Regent Tim Higgins challenged UW-Milwaukee Athletic Director Amanda Braun after she gave a presentation on Panther sports to regents Friday on the school's campus, pointing out the athletic department has an $11 million deficit.
Braun countered that her department has a plan to eliminate the deficit and should finish fiscal year 2016 with a balanced budget
