MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It wasn't a bad night to sleep under the stars.
That's what some members of the Peace for Change Alliance are doing Friday night at the corner of 3rd and North.
The group is hoping to collect donations of school supplies for kids in need in the area.
"It's just something different ya know. We are doing it for our youth, for our Milwaukee Public School system and our kids. It's just about having fun and hanging out," said Tracey Dent.
The 5th District Police Department and Pete's Fruit Market sponsored the sleep out.
