LACROSSE, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Vernon County Sheriff's Department confirms the gray Ford Focus Thibodeaux is believed to be driving does not have license plates.

The driver's door has a dent and the car has a hitch on the back. Authorities also believe the car may have a Harley Davidson sticker in the back window. The passenger side mirror may break off.

Anyone with information about Casey Thibodeaux’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Wisconsin Department of Corrections or the Vernon County Sheriff Office at 608-637-2123.

LACROSSE, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Vernon County Sheriff's Department is asking for help to find a convicted sex offender who they say cut his GPS bracelet and may be in the Kenosha/South Milwaukee area.

According to investigators, 37-year-old Casey Thibodeaux cut his GPS monitoring bracelet off at a Kwik Trip in LaCresent, Minnesota on January 12. He was convicted back in 1997-1998 for first degree sexual assault and has been living in La Crosse.

It’s believed Thibodeaux is driving a brown-colored Ford Fusion with unknown Wisconsin Plates. A warrant has been issued for his arrest by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

Anyone with information about Casey Thibodeaux’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Wisconsin Department of Corrections or the Vernon County Sheriff Office at 608-637-2123.
