MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The doors will be open to over 100 Milwaukee attractions, buildings, and organizations this weekend.
Visitors will be able tour 170 places for free as part of Doors Open Milwaukee with stops including City Hall, the Basilica of St. Josaphat, and Adventure Rock MKE.
Last year, nearly 1,000 people checked out Adventure Rock and this year, tourists can see the rock wall behind them to see how they’re made.
“The reason why people should get out and go someplace for doors open is it is the whole city takes on this exploratory, like everybody gets to explore the city. go see Milwaukee it's so cool, it's such a rad event. i think it should be a holiday for the city of Milwaukee, but we'll talk to the mayor about that,” says Craig Bruzynski, General Manager of Adventure Rock.
