Hwy 100 ramps reopening ahead of Friday morning commute

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Zoo Interchange has been an area in a constant state of change since the project started several years ago. Although we are still a couple years away from completion, drivers will continue to deal with roads and ramps closing and reopening.

As part of the Zoo Interchange Project, the Hwy 100 entrance ramp to I-94 westbound and exit ramp from I-94 westbound will reopen ahead of the morning commute.  In addition I-41 southbound and I-894 northbound will also regain access to I-94 westbound.

Finally, I-94 westbound will be shifted to its new roadway from the Zoo Interchange to the western project limits.

As with most changes in our area be sure to plan on extra time if you use these routes for either of your commutes. Be sure to follow @ABrovelli on Twitter and watch the CBS 58 Morning News for the latest on the Zoo Interchange Project and other construction throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
