WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 59-year-old Waukesha man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a murder in 2015.
Philip Holland was in court Friday for sentencing. He was convicted earlier in 2018 for the hatchet killing of Timothy Minkley. The judge sentenced Holland to life in prison with no chance of parole, based on the nature of the crime.
"Just the sheer brutality of what occurred, the sheer callousness on your part. Your absolute lack of any kind of remorse or even acknowledgment of what you did," said Judge Lee Dryfus Jr.
Philip Holland and Timothy Minkley knew each other. Minkley's body was found in his Waukesha home with injuries to his head.
