The paint is barely dry, but local artists are making the most of their new digs. It's a brand new studio for "Express Yourself Milwaukee." This non-profit works with more than a thousand young creators, ages 7 to 21, to bring out their self-expression through art, music, and dance. And those with Express Yourself believe the new safe space off the 1300 block of Fond du Lac Avenue near downtown is the perfect environment for their creativity to come alive.
To celebrate the new location of Express Yourself, an open house is planned this Friday between 5 and 7 pm. It's free and family-friendly. If you're interested in attending or want to join this organization, just click here.
