Milwaukee pimp sentenced to 25 years for sex trafficking

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- 40-year-old Milwaukee man Terrell Shankle aka "King Relly" was sentenced to 25 years in prison and five years supervision for sex trafficiking.

Shankle was previously found guilty on five counts of sex trafficking a minor, sex trafficking using force, fraud and conspiracy to transport a minor across state lines for prostitution.

King Relly was a violent sex trafficker from 2006 to 2012 and recruited girls as young as 16 for prostitution in promise of money and a better life. He threatened violence and forced some victims to get tattoos of his name to signify his ownership of them.

One victim testified that Shankle beat her nearly every day for three years starting when she was 16-years-old. Sometimes he would beat her with his "pimp cane" and beat her again for getting treatment for her injuries. He threatened to kill her family if she tried to leave.

Another victim said he pressed the barrel of a pistol against her head because he believed she withheld money from him. This victim also saw Shankle fire a gun at another victim’s feet after she purportedly disobeyed him.
