RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- SAVOURing RAM @ 20 is a continuation of the museum’s annual fundraiser, SAVOUR. In celebration of RAM’s Twentieth Anniversary in Downtown Racine, the sixth edition of this annual party takes place at the Racine Art Museum instead of RAM’s Wustum Museum of Fine Arts as it typically has.

SAVOURing RAM @ 20 promotes the ultimate taste of Racine’s creative community by pairing local artists and restaurants to create work inspired by one another. o Bill Reid is crafting a fantastical sculpture inspired by local gastropub Joey’s Yardarm, while Butcher & Barrel is designing delectable dishes inspired by the work of local painter Sue Horton.

The participating artists and restaurants are an essential element in making.

In addition to the inventive food + art pairings, attendees will be able to enjoy a plethora of sensational experiences. Pull for mystery bottles of wine or pieces of art in the popular Art + Wine Pull. Feel the rush of paddle-raising excitement during a live auction of exceptional trips and tours, curated prize packages, handcrafted pieces of art, and more.

Groove to the sounds of Kase, a trio combining conventional jazz with contemporary hip-hop influences, followed by The After Party, a premiere cover group performing everything from 60s to 90s to Top 40 pop hits.

Enjoy unlimited beer, wine, signature cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages in hidden party lounges in private areas of an acclaimed museum, including exhibition prep rooms and the loading dock. · SAVOURing RAM @ 20 commemorates RAM’s success and continued prosperity while helping to support exhibition programming, visual arts education for all ages and abilities, and care for the largest contemporary craft collection in America. Proceeds from this event support valuable programs at both museum campuses, including RAM on the Road and the SPARK! memory loss engagement program. Additionally, event proceeds also support local artists and restaurants. Participating artists receive a stipend and a split on proceeds from artwork sold, and participating food vendors receive compensation for their time and expenses. · Early bird tickets are going fast, so don’t miss out on the party of the year!

Remaining tickets will increase in price after Friday, September 15, and will remain on sale at a higher price until they run out or the date reaches Tuesday, September 19—whichever comes first.
