MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Ryan Braun put a smile on the faces of a local family on Wednesday.
The Oelke family was picking out new Brewers shirts and hats at the Kohl's in Menomonee Falls when Braun surprised them and thanked them for supporting the team.
Braun says it's Milwaukee's fans like the Oelke's that made a big difference in helping the Brewers clinch a playoff spot.

“That last homestead we had at Milwaukee the fans were incredibly loud. We really did feed off the energy in the stadium. It matters to all of us, it's something we really enjoy, and for everybody, this is so special to see us play in the postseason. You don't get that opportunity every year.” Braun said.
