Suspect sought in stabbing that injured 3 in Hales Corners
CBS 58 HALES CORNERS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Hales Corners police are investigating after a triple stabbing Tuesday night, April 16.
Police responded to the area near Plum Tree Circle just before 11 p.m. for a report of people fighting.
Upon arrival, they encountered three injured people, including a 42-year-old woman, 37-year-old man, and 22-year-old man.
Officials say the 37-year-old sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital in stable condition, while the other victims sustained non-life-threatening and minor injuries.
The suspect is an 18-year-old Milwaukee man known by the victims. Police say he fled the scene prior to their arrival.
Officers were not able to locate the suspect, but recovered a knife and shovel believed to be involved in the incident.
An investigation is ongoing.
