Adopt a cat for discounted tickets to see First Stage's rendition of 'Pete the Cat' the musical

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- First Stage is teaming up with MADACC to help support cats who need a home.

Starting Oct. 4 through Nov. 3, if you adopt a cat at MADACC, you'll receive 25 percent off up to four tickets to see First Stage's musical rendition of Pete the Cat.

Bree Beelow is the director and choreographer of the show. She says it's perfect for all ages over three.

"We are so excited to bring the musical to Milwaukee," said Beelow. "It is not based on a particular book, but this is the story of Pete, and he gets caught by the cat catcher and he is forced to live with the Biddles."

The show premieres this Friday, Oct. 4. They are also taking cat food, soft or dry, donations at all performances.
