Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry completes sale of team stake to Jimmy Haslam

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry has completed the sale of his 25% ownership to the Cleveland Browns owner, Jimmy Haslam and Haslam Sports Group (HSG).

The NBA Board of Governors has approved the sale, a news release from the Bucks announced.

Haslam will join the ownership group with Bucks co-owner, Wes Edens and Jamie Dinan.

Edens, who purchased the team with Lasry in 2014, will serve as Governor of the Bucks for the next five years, succeeding Lasry in that role.

Together with Edens and Dinan, HSG will control and operate the Bucks; Fiserv Forum; the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Science Center, the team’s training center; the Wisconsin Herd, the Bucks’ G League affiliate; and Bucks Gaming, the team’s 2K League affiliate.
