LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Original Rainbow Cone and Buona Companies are both Chicago staples with decades in business. Now, you can find both of them in Wisconsin under one roof.

The first location opened in Pleasant Prairie in February. Now, the Lake Geneva shop is open for business.

"The response from the community has been great so far. There's definitely beef eaters in Wisconsin," said Joe Buonavolanto, the executive vice president of The Buona Companies, and a third-generation family member helping run the business.

You can find Italian beefs, Chicago-style hotdogs, mini donuts and the five-layered rainbow cones.

The Buonavolanto family continues to run the restaurant, and they don't have any plans on stopping.

"It was my grandfather's dream for his sons to work together so started as a 1,200 square-foot Italian beef store in Berwyn, Illinois," said Buonavolanto. "88-years-old still comes to the office every single day and he still has lunch with us."

The family plans to open a third Wisconsin location in the Milwaukee area later this year.

CBS 58 was at the Lake Geneva store Tuesday morning:
