Car drives off roadway, goes airborne, destroying garage in Medina

MEDINA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A driver went airborne hitting a mailbox and the wall of a garage of a nearby house around 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 in the town of Medina.

Police say the driver and lone occupant were traveling east on State Highway 19 when they left the roadway.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. 

The driver, a 38-year-old Edgerton woman, reported no injuries.

Dane County Sheriff's deputies, along with Marshall Police, Fire and EMS, responded to State Highway 19 at Evergreen Road. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
