Crews Fight To Keep Fire From Spreading

Milwaukee - Fire crews rushed to save neighboring homes early this morning from a fire at at a two-story house on the city's north side.

It happened just before 1 AM near 25th and Chambers.

Firefighters found flames on the second floor of the house and worked to keep those flames from spreading to other houses in the neighborhood.

Battalion Chief Mike Blackwood said they accomplished that mission, \"No damage to the other buildings. We had one minor firefighter injury that didn't even need any medical attention.\"

Firefighters say no one was living in the house that burned.
