MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some diehard Bucks fans were rewarded for their loyalty. Six original Bucks season ticket holders were invited into the new arena as the first seats were installed.
The first of 17,500 seats were installed inside of the arena. Bango and the men, all of whom have been season ticket holders for the last 50 years, got to try out the seats.
"New arena, I'd like to see a lot of people here. I'm a Milwaukeean through and through. It's great for the city, it's great for basketball, all kinds of basketball like Marquette too," said Stephen Kravit, Bucks ticket holder since '68.
"We love celebrating them. It's a big part of our business, it's a big part of our culture to really value those season ticket holders," said Bucks President Peter Feigin.
Between 700 and 750 seats will be installed each week until the arena's completion next year.
