RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The city of Racine Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man in critical condition.
According to police the victim was shot in the head near 18th and Center St. in Racine.
It happened around 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 13.
The victim was the passenger in a stolen vehicle when he was shot. Police believe the occupants of the stolen vehicle were involved in an altercation with occupants from another vehicle and shots were fired.
Police later responded to 19th and Racine Street for the victim. He was transported to Ascension Medical Center and then taken by Flight for Life to Milwaukee. The victim is currently in critical condition.
Investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this incident.
