Milwaukee County Parks to host hiring event at MLK Jr. Community Center
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee County Parks is inviting job seekers to attend its seasonal hiring event on Wednesday, March 8.
Walk-in interviews will be conducted, with officials offering contingent job offers on the spot, from 2 - 6 p.m.
The Parks Department is aiming to fill seasonal positions, such as park workers, lifeguards, food and beverage specialists, aquatics, recreation and admissions, golf pro shop staff, golf course maintenance, athletic league officials, marina dock hands and park rangers.
Interested individuals can reserve a time slot in advance by registering on the department's website. The aforementioned website notes the department's goal: "Our goal is to hire nature lovers, golf lovers, water lovers, and individuals that have a passion to serve. So, we are inviting talented people to join us."
The event will take place at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center located at 1531 Vliet Street in Milwaukee. Free parking will be provided for attendees.
