Three arrested following Kenosha homicide and car chase

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha Police have arrested three people following a homicide and car chase in Kenosha on Friday, May 14.
Kenosha police say they responded to the area near 20th Ave. and 89th St. around 12:30 a.m. Friday for a shots fired incident.
Responding officers were updated that a possible suspect vehicle was leaving the parking lot and a vehicle description was obtained, police say.
Officers located the car and a pursuit ensued into Illinois before the suspect was apprehended.
Ty, Shawn B. Ridgeway is in custody at the Lake County, IL. Jail. Police say he is held on charges of second degree recklessly endangering safety and fleeing/eluding, both felonies.
Police say at the same time officers made entry to the involved apartment, 18-year-old Dayshawn S. Davis was found fatally shot. Officials say detectives worked quickly to develop information that led to the arrest of two adults.
Homicide charges are expected for one and a charge of aiding a felon is expected for the other.
Police say both suspects were taken into custody Friday afternoon in Rockford, IL. The suspects will not be identified until charges are filed.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) – Kenosha Police say they are investigating a homicide following a car chase.
KPD conducting a homicide investigation on Kenosha’s south side. A vehicle pursuit that left Wisconsin and entered Illinois was related. Investigation is ongoing. No further information at this time.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) – Kenosha Police confirm they are investigating a shooting that happened shortly after midnight on Friday, May 14.
Authorities were on scene near 20th Ave. and 89th St. throughout the early hours of the morning.
