1 dead after vehicle crashes into tree near 24th and Fairmount

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash on Wednesday, April 2.
It happened near 24th and Fairmount around 4:46 p.m.
Police say the driver and the only person in the vehicle, a 69-year-old, was traveling westbound and collided into a tree.
He was identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office Monday, April 7, as Parnell Hyman of Glendale.
The 69-year-old was taken to a local hospital but died of his injuries.
