19-year-old arrested after firing shots at Milwaukee police officers
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 19-year-old man was arrested after firing shots at Milwaukee police Saturday, March 13.
It happened near 76th and Winfield around 9:40 p.m.
Police say prior to the officers arrival, shots were fired at the location by known suspects. The 19-year-old man sustained multiple gun shot wounds.
The officers approached the location upon hearing the shots.
Police say the 19-year-old victim discharged his weapon towards the officers.
The officers were not injured.
The victim was taken into custody, as well as taken to a local hospital for his injuries.
Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects.
