2 arrested following pursuit, rollover crash near 26th and Kilbourn

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say two men were arrested early Friday morning, May 12, following a pursuit and rollover crash.

According to MPD, officers attempted to stop a reckless driver near 18th and Washington just before 1 a.m., but the driver refused to stop, prompting a pursuit. 

Police say the pursuit ended when the driver crashed into construction equipment and rolled near 26th and Kilbourn. 

The driver and his passenger -- a 28-year-old Milwaukee man and 22-year-old Milwaukee man -- were arrested and taken to an area hospital for medical clearance.

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the coming days.
